Main task:
1. Optimization of the University's business processes by implementing information systems;
2. Monitoring the progress of preparation and implementation of projects for updating, improving, and implementing University information systems;
3. Control over the preparation and implementation of information systems and telecommunications systems of the University of projects of activities that meet "uniform requirements in the field of information and communication technologies and information security".

Main functions:
- organization of preventive and repair work in order to eliminate hardware and software failures of the university's computer park;
- management and development of the university's corporate network;
- ensuring the direct organization (creation) and effective functioning of the information protection system at the university, preventing, as a consequence, causing material, physical, moral or other harm to the university as a result of information activities;
- development of application programs to automate the activities of university departments.
